Who We Are

My name is Rodney Grill and I am a Mercedes-Benz enthusiast. The first thing I learned about these machines is that they are as much a rolling computer network as they are automobiles. Mercedes-Benz has always been on the cutting edge of technology, and it takes more than skills with a wrench to keep them on the road; it also takes analytical and electronics problem-solving experience.

I have over thirty years of experience in information technology where I designed, tested, and programmed software for various computer applications. I also have well over thirty years of experience in fixing cars - mostly my own, but often those of friends, family and neighbors. Anyone who knows me knows that I am the go-to guy when it comes to solving problems with their cars.

Benzbits™ was started as the result of merging these mechanical and technology skills and mixing in a passion for Mercedes-Benz vehicles. I have spent over twenty years studying and learning about these cars, even working for the company at one time. I use my skills and expertise to diagnose and solve some of the most complex problems you might experience as a Mercedes-Benz owner.

I do this at your location, at your convenience and without trying to sell you expensive extra services that you probably don't need. All I want to do is help you continue enjoying your Mercedes-Benz vehicle!
